Inland part of Istria is crisscrossed with so called wine roads leading to small restaurants where you can find excellent wine and food. This particular area is famous by expensive mushrooms "Tartufi" that grow only on a few spots in the world. Tartufi are mostly used as spice, known to spice up the sex life of the people eating it. The village is located between towns Buzet (3.5 km away) and Motovun (5 km). Once a year pitoresque Motovun hosts "Motovun Film Festival". Movie directors, actors and other artists get together here along with thousands of visitors that come to watch the premieres of their movies. |
